The app provides users with useful information about each of the trails registered on the National Trails Register in Duhallow. Once you select your trail users have access to an overview of all information they need to know about the trail (distance, time, elevation, etc.) as well as more detailed information and a link to the trailhead on google maps. The app also provides users with a gallery of images for each trail, a list of Points of Information (POIs) and Services, as well as a gallery of images for each of the trails.Upon arriving at the trailhead, users can select the ‘Start Now’ icon, and the app will display a map of the trail with all POIs and Services along the route marked. These POIs will ‘ping’ anytime one of the locations is passed and display an image an information about the item on screen, making the trail an interactive and informational experience for all.
